GE's 900 MHz cordless phones perform the basic functions of a home telephone. The phone allows you to record frequently called numbers and hold private conversations outside of the hearing of your caller. You can even silence the phone so that you do not feel obligated to answer it. Learning how to use the phone can help you get the most use out of it. Instructions
Store a number in the 900 MHz GE cordless phone's memory by pressing the "Mem" button and entering the number. You can enter up to 24 digits. Press "Mem" and press the number key to store the number.
Mute the conversation to talk privately with others in the room by pressing the "Mute" button while on an active call. Press the "Mute" button again to speak with the caller again.
Set the date and time on the GE cordless phone by pressing and holding the "Time Set" button. Press the "Fast Forward" button to scroll through the days. Press "Time Set" to save your entry. Use the phone's "Fast Forward" or "Rewind" button to select the hour. Press the "Time Set" to save the hour. Press the "Fast Forward" or "Rewind" button to select the minutes. Press the "Time Set" to save your entry.
Answer an incoming call by pressing the "Talk" button. If you receive a call during your conversation, press the "Flash" button to answer the other call.
Turn off the phone's ringer by sliding the "Ring/Pwr" switch to "Off." You can also turn off the phone completely by sliding the switch to "Pwr Off."
